The Care Trak Mobile Locator is a wireless signal transmitter and wandering patient system designed for use by caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's Disease or cognitive, neurological, or mobility disabilities. It can also be used by law enforcement or emergency response personnel to locate a lost person. This portable device can be used alone or with the Care Trak Sentry Perimeter System (see separate entry) to locate an individual wearing a Care Trak Wrist Transmitter (see separate entry) who has wandered. It has a range of up to a mile. The Mobile Locater has an LED meter that shows the signal strength coming from the lost person's transmitter. It also emits an audible chirp when it senses a transmitter's signal. When the user points the antenna in the direction of the wandered person, the chirp gets louder and the LED signal meter jumps higher on the scale. WARRANTY: Limited 5-year warranty on all parts and labor.
