Nov. 8—Several programs and events are scheduled throughout Clark and Champaign counties this week in honor of Veterans Day.
Veterans Day is celebrated each year on Nov. 11 to honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

"We are proud to celebrate and uplift our veterans, military and their families. We acknowledge the unique challenges our students face and strive to support them holistically as they transition to civilian life," said Nina Wiley, assistant vice president of student affairs.
